The Sullivan City Council appeared to have a light agenda for their meeting that was to be held on Tuesday night, Apr. 7.
The council had two requests and petitions scheduled, which included comments from resident Floyd Glasco on electric billing and rates along with a request from SJB & JTK Enterprises, LLC, dba Pioneer Lounge, for a liquor license.
City attorney Matt Schroeder was scheduled to present a draft for a pre-treatment ordinance for the new wastewater treatment plant.
Two ordinances highlighted the agenda including Ordinance 3336, which would repeal a $3,000 agreement with the Meramec Regional Planning Commission to complete and submit an application to the Missouri Department of Economic Development for an Enhanced Enterprise Zone designation in the Sullivan area and enact a new agreement for same in the amount of $6,000.
Ordinance 3337, introduced by alderman J.T. Hardy, would remove the ineligibility clause concerning real or personal property regarding the Cultural Grant awards.
