The Franklin County Board of Realtors will hold a Trivia Night on Fri., Apr. 3 at the KC Hall in Union, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The board is holding the event to raise money for The Center of the Missouri Association of Realtors. The Center was founded in 1959. The MAR Education Foundation provided scholarships to college-bound students completing real estate and finance degrees.
In 1981, the Center was given its current name to reflect the broader scope of educational opportunities and, today, it coordinates two prestigious high school programs, emphasizing the importance of private enterprise, entrepreneurship and the right to own property. The Center gives realtors an opportunity to be involved with consumer and business education in their communities by supporting and promoting the programs in local schools.
Tables of eight are available for the trivia night at a cost of $80 with a $300 prize for the winning team and a $50 prize for the best decorated table.
