Learning About Pie Making At Mickey’s Pies

sliceo2Students from the Bourbon Seventh-day Adventist School recently toured the kitchen of Mickey’s Pies, Inc. in Rolla. The students were learning about different food industry fields available locally.
Mickey’s Pies, Inc. makes all the pies for A Slice of Pie, a restaurant in Rolla that serves pies, quiche, soups, cakes, and cheesecakes. The students were able to see how the pies were made and enjoyed tasting some of the pies. They then went to the Slice of Pie restaurant and learned about the retail part of the business.
I learned how they make pies.
