Geraldine Mildred Williams Harmon, age 87, of El Dorado Springs, MO was born on November 30, 1921 in Brunot, MO to Oscar Williams and Frieda Hickman Williams. She passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Community Springs Healthcare, El Dorado Springs, MO.
Geraldine grew up in Arcadia, MO and was a graduate of Annapolis High School. After working during WWII in St. Louis, MO at Small Arms Munition Plant, she married and moved to Sullivan, MO, raising two daughters and working at the Bank of Sullivan until her retirement when she moved to El Dorado Springs.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Harmon Bird of New Port Richey, FL and Vicki Harmon Hutsell and husband, Gary, of El Dorado Springs, MO; two grandsons, Scott Bird of Indianapolis, IN and Brian Hutsell and wife, Laurel, of Imperial, MO; one granddaughter, Lindsay Hutsell Tanner and husband, Aaron, of Ozark, MO; two great-grandsons, Carter Hutsell and Hudson Tanner; and expected great- granddaughter Tanner and great-grandbaby Hutsell.
Other survivors include a sister, Pat Long Bearden and husband, Walter, of Piedmont, MO; and two brothers, Udell Williams and wife, Ruth, of Fenton, MO and Eugene Williams of Louisville, KY.
Private services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 with visitation at 1 p.m. at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, MO, with Rev. Barbara Minton officiating. Interment was in El Dorado Springs Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
