Cases Investigated By The Crawford Co. Sheriff’s Office

Mon., Mar. 9 - Crawford County deputies took a report of property damage from a burglary to a building in the Steelville area.
Investigation will continue by this agency.
Wed, Mar. 11 - Crawford County deputies arrived at a residence in reference to a burglary.
Upon investigation, deputies learned that someone went inside the complainant’s residence and stole some of the complainant’s prescription medication.
Further investigations will continue.
Thurs., Mar. 12 - Crawford County deputies arrived at a residence in reference to a noise complaint of loud music.
When deputies made contact with the homeowners, they could detect the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence and could also see drug paraphernalia lying in plain view inside the residence.
A search was conducted of the residence and a felony amount of marijuana was located inside the residence along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Fri., Mar. 13 - Crawford County deputies took a report of a violation of an order of protection.
Sat., Mar. 14 - Crawford County deputies, assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Sullivan Police Department, responded to a residence in the Sullivan area for an attempt to harm.
Officers arrived on scene and found the subject to have a self-inflicted wound and had EMS treat the subject before flying the subject out to a Trauma Center in the St. Louis area for further treatment.
