Cases Investigated By The Crawford Co. Sheriff’s Office

Tues., Feb. 17 - Crawford County deputies arrived at a residence that was currently under construction in reference to someone who had cut numerous electrical wires out from the inside of the residence.
A report was made of the incident and currently is under investigation.
Tues., Feb. 17 - Crawford County deputies were dispatched to a residence in Leasburg in reference to possible drug activity.
Deputies were granted consent to search by the owner of the residence and, upon searching a bedroom, deputies discovered methamphetamine and numerous amounts of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies then took two individuals into custody and transported them to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department for distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Wed., Feb. 18 - Crawford County deputies responded to the Sullivan area for a burglary not in progress.
Three empty beer cans were seized and sent to the crime lab for processing.
Wed., Feb. 18 - Crawford County deputies responded to the Leasburg area for a report of a dog bite.
Fri., Feb. 20 - A traffic stop was conducted for a lane violation.
Upon speaking to the driver, it was learned that the driver didn’t have a valid driver’s license, which was later confirmed with dispatch.
A search of the driver resulted in the discovery of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. It was also learned that the driver had two prior convictions for no operator’s license. The driver was later transported to the Crawford County jail pending the application of a warrant.
