Mon., Feb. 2 - Crawford County deputies took a report of mailbox vandalism.
During the course of the deputies’ investigation, they learned that a piece of a damaged gate from a nearby church had been used to damage the complainant’s mailbox.
Further investigations will continue.
Tues., Feb. 3 - Crawford County deputies took a report of a stolen vehicle in the Steelville area.
The vehicle was taken sometime in the last days of January.
Investigation to continue by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.
Wed., Feb. 4 - A report of a theft of medication was taken from a residence on Highway ZZ in Cuba.
The victim stated that someone entered his home and took his medication.
There are no suspects at this time.
Sat., Feb. 7 - Crawford County deputies responded to the Leasburg area for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress.
Information received from Crawford Communications was that a female subject in the residence had threatened to kill her husband.
Upon arrival of deputies, the female subject was taken into custody without incident.
